Pelican™ 1525 Air Knife Case

I am going to be honest. I put off buying any Nalpak cases or foam inserts because they are perceived as expensive. After shopping around, I realized the price considering the quality and configuration of the foam, it’s not expensive as you might think at first. Shop around and you will see what I mean. I have been thru it, I did the cheap case with the pull and pluck foam. Did not provide the level of protection I wanted for my collection. Then the custom cut Kaizen foam, good quality but will still deform and dent. Then the custom case foam insert cut ProCell foam, great stuff except it stinks badly and although the smell will diminish it never goes away, never and it never stops being offensive. Now to the Pelican 1525 Air with Nalpak foam. The case is the lightest of this size I have and holds a whopping 65 knives. It’s fantastic in the size & weight to capacity category. Then there is the custom cut foam, which is durable and aesthetically pleasing with its two tone black top and colored interior. I recommend Nalpak and will be replacing my existing cheaper and foul smelling other foam inserts with Nalpak precut foam.

Love the case. Low profile allows me to pack it almost anywhere. Like it so much I just ordered a Pelican Vault 200 for travel. Pelican is setting a pretty high standard in this industry.
