Tuffpak™ Original Guncase
The Original Tuffpak™ will carry up to three scoped rifles (or as many as five shotguns) up to 50" in overall length in ultimate security. It's well balanced and rolls effortlessly behind you no matter how much you've put inside, leaving your other hand free.
For optimum protection, put your guns in their normal soft cases and slide them into your Tuffpak. Your firearms are safe and secure, and you'll have your soft cases to protect your guns when you arrive without taking up extra room in your luggage.

- The Version comes with a Thumb-Turn style lock that accepts a padlock. We send a Masterlock Combination padlock with this case.

The Tuffpak opens easily and discreetly. When the TSA or other officials need to inspect your firearms, just slide them out of their soft cases without disturbing anything else in your Tuffpak.

The rotational molding process used to form every Tuffpak™ enables us to produce an extremely durable lightweight case that can withstand even the roughest baggage handlers for a lifetime. Just how tough are rotationally molded products? Well, some products you've probably seen include, gas cans, the big yellow crash barrels found on most of our nations freeways, water tanks, toys, dumpster lids and many other items where durability is mandatory.
As a direct result of this unique molding process, every corner in a Tuffpak™ has 20% more material than the sidewalls. All of this yields a case so "tuff" that Nalpak stands behind every one of them with their "Guaranteed For Life" guarantee.
Tuffpak™ is resistant to: jet fuel, solvents, moisture, dents, abrasions, shock, cold to -40° F and heat to +140° F
This Tuffpak™ model comes equipped with wheels which are permanently attached and protected by "fenders" that are molded into the bottom of the case. No need to remove them (and possibly lose them) or find a place for them in your other bags. The wheels along with the pull handle on the lid make it a snap to move even a heavy load.

Well built!
I wanted a rolling rifle case that I could also stuff in clothes etc to cut down on the number of bags to check. I also check an ice check when I fly to a hunt so having just two bags to check vs three is not only less baggage fees but also easier to handle in the airport.
This case fits the bill perfectly. It feels indestructible! It's very well made, and all of the little construction details that I geek out over (e.g. how seams fit, buckle/strap attachment) are impressive.
Sure it's expensive but at $150 or even $200 on Southwest per bag over 2, the initial investment makes sense to me. Plus it doesn't look like a rifle case. For some that may be a plus. I personally don't give a hoot what people in the airport think of me when I have an ice chest and a rifle case, but I guess it's nice to have the case look more like golf clubs.
I like the padlock design, and it came with a padlock and a little ditty bag that attaches to an inner clip. Nice touch! -
